Planning your travel online has many advantages, some of them being the access to insider knowledge and the cheaper rates exclusive to these websites. Priceline.com, an American travel website, offers deals on a range of travel needs such as hotels, car services, and flights, giving customers the option to name their own price.

Reviews/ What Users Have to Say

We checked around for Priceline reviews in order to write our own reviews but almost all the websites gave this travel company a very poor score. On Consumer Affairs and SiteJabber, Priceline had a 1- and 2-star score respectively.

Of Priceline’s customer service, one reviewer wrote “Priceline has the worst customer service in the industry. The staff are trained to apologize for all the inconveniences that have been caused by Priceline not keeping its end of the promise, however they are also trained to give you the runaround and not address any of the up issues you are facing because you booked with Priceline. Their claims of matching lower prices are false.” In other Priceline reviews where customers faced changes in room prices or the site booked the wrong room, Priceline’s operations appeared faulty.

Their Official Website

Their website looks like every other travel website: designed in blue and white with decidedly informal photographs. I know they’re supposed to depict some travellers from all over the world having fun, but it shows a different side to Priceline. Personally, I wasn’t impressed with my first impressions of their site.

However, travel services you can book from Priceline.com include the following: hotels, cars, flights, packages, and cruises. They claim discounts on them, mainly through their Name Your Own Price. Express Deals and featured hotels further cut off from the original price.

You can download the Priceline app from Google Play and the App Store. Also, Priceline has a number of social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube. For more information, updates, and offers about Priceline, view their Twitter account here.

Not Recommended

Priceline Reviews 2017 brand iconAll those negative Priceline reviews took a toll on this travel company and website’s reputation. After reading them, I would not trust my important and expensive travels with Priceline. It seems they are not worth using: their website frequently acted up and their customer service are unable to help.
